Helping you and your dog live a better life together!
Looking for an ethical, positive reinforcement trainer? If your puppy or dog is displaying undesirable behaviours, feels anxious in certain situations or simply needs obedience training, I would be happy to help. I can even help you develop your dog handling skills to become a better and more confident dog guardian.
Welcome to the Dog Coach, Glasgow! Before employing anyone to help coach you and your dog, you should know a little bit about that person. I began working with dogs and studying their behaviour in 2007. I am a qualified Guide Dog Trainer, Autism Assistance Dog Trainer, Separation Anxiety Pro, with level 3 diplomas in Canine Behaviourism, Canine Psychology, Canine Aggression, and Aninal Welfare.
I continue to upskill and research the latest science backed, ethical training and behaviour modification methods to ensure that my knowledge is up to date in this fast-evolving industry. Science has proved many times that dogs learn much more efficiently when we use kind methods. So, I use positive reinforcement, fear-free coaching and encourage the use of lots of praise, treats, toys and cuddles. I understand that raising a dog can be challenging and I can offer practical advice on how to manage unwanted behaviours, avoid common training problems, and how to teach new desirable behaviours. During sessions, I will help you understand why your dogs behave the way they do and then create a tailormade, straight forward coaching plan to set you up for success. I offer private training sessions in your home or outdoor environments. If you are not able to meet, I can offer advice remotely. If you have any concerns about your dog’s behaviour or any training issues, please message me below. I look forward to hearing from you!
